Your CRM system is only as valuable as the data that you have in it, and as you begin your Dynamics 365 implementation it’s important to define the KPIs that are important for your business and the behaviors that drive them. That means it’s critical to train users to access their CRM information. In this episode of The CRM Minute, hear from Juliana on how the CRM U Online class, Getting Data Out of CRM, can help!

Hi. I’m Juliana Hickey and I’m here to talk to you today about the CRM new online course called, Getting Data Out of CRM. Your CRM system is going to be as valuable as the data that you enter in it and as you begin your implementation you’re going to define the KPIs that are important for your business and the behaviors that drive them. The next step is going to be to train users to those behaviors but most importantly we’re going to need to train managers on how to access the information. Microsoft Dynamics CRM includes several tools that you can use to access those KPIs and the Getting Data From CRM course will help you with four of them.
The first one is my favorite and it’s called Advanced Find. It lets you create multiple queries and filter criteria to display your data however is relevant for you and your teams. From the views that you created in Advanced Find you can then export your data into Excel where you will be able to manipulate it however you want. You can also use charts and dashboards from CRM to visualize data right in the system or to Report Wizard for more formal reporting. This course is great for managers because not only will they be able to use the tools but also to find which tool is most appropriate for the KPIs you’re looking to measure. Go ahead and register for the Getting Data Out of CRM course and be sure to check out the education page in our website for additional training offerings. Thanks for watching the CRM Minute!
