PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations University Trainer to join their award winning and growing team. The primary responsibility of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations University Trainer is to provide technical trainings for public offerings as well as private training for customers on Finance and Operations related topics and content. This role may also support development of custom training within customer projects, as well as development and maintenance of free educational materials such as blogs, videos, and webinars.

Essential Functions

  • Dynamics 365 University Trainer responsibilities include
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of common processes, issues, and technology related to operation of all business processes within a business such as finance, purchasing, sales, customer service, inventory, warehouse, and manufacturing
  • Maintain expertise of the Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations application through ongoing consumption of blogs and online resources—especially as new versions are released
  • Learn and teach advanced topics such business intelligence (e.g. SSRS, PowerBI), advanced processes, and functional Finance and Operations tasks and processes
  • Learn and teach additional technologies such as Manufacturing, Finance, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and mobile technologies
  • Work with clients to plan onsite Dynamics 365 University training delivering including planning logistics, travel, and customizing the agenda for the client
  • Assist the Dynamics 365 University team with updates of Dynamics 365 University Finance and Operations curriculum, which may include development of new labs, updating materials based on new versions, addition of instructor notes, or improving the classroom content for better learner experience
  • Develop new curriculum and course offerings that add value to clients
  • Additional areas of responsibility will be to contribute to the team as follows:
  • Develop how-to videos, as needed by the team
  • Document team processes and knowledge sharing in OneNote
  • Teach an internal class for PowerObjects University
  • Promote education through webinars and online video content
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and actively listening to issues and contributing ideas
  • Distribute information on the latest ERP-related and technology news to the team members
  • Write blogs on the latest features and discoveries or
  • Review blogs created by the rest of the company

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Microsoft Certifications in Financials, Distribution and Trade, and Development in D365 or AX2012.
  • All Finance and Operations certifications in D365 must be completed in the first three months of employment.

  • Natural aptitude and personality for training, including ability to speak clearly, organize thoughts while speaking, and control one’s own delivery of information
  • Ability to adapt presentation to the audience
  • Travel up to 50%
