Press Release: PowerObjects Releases Guide for Power8CRM, a Windows 8 CRM App for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Users

PowerObjects, a professional services firm 100% focused on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, has just released the Power8CRM Lead to Cash Guide. This step-by-step manual describes how Dynamics CRM users can use the Windows 8 CRM app to capture and qualify leads, generate opportunities, enter tasks and activities, and ultimately follow the sales process through to closing.

Power8CRM, released in October 2012, is a free Microsoft Dynamics CRM companion app for Windows 8 products like the Surface tablet. It empowers Dynamics CRM users to work from their mobile devices with a new, process-driven approach. The app, which PowerObjects continues to develop and improve, is available for download from the Windows store at no cost.

“The goal of the Lead to Cash Guide is to maximize the value users get out of the app,” says Cecilie Svensgaard, manager of the PowerPack suite of add-ons at PowerObjects. “It includes great information to help users streamline their business processes and access the data they need to keep the sales process on track.”

The 20-page guide is not limited to the functionality within Power8CRM’s Sales Hub. It also provides an overview of the Marketing Hub, which utilizes the Dynamics CRM add-on PowerWebTraffic, and the People hub, where users can quickly manage their leads, accounts and contacts. Additionally, those who have the PowerPhoto add-on installed for Dynamics CRM can take advantage of Power8CRM’s photo feature, which allows users to take pictures directly from their Windows 8 devices and add them to a task or contact record on the spot.

“Power8CRM is a powerful tool that destroys the notion that you have to be tied to a desk to be productive,” says Svensgaard. “Imagine being able to check your upcoming tasks, or view a picture of a prospect as you walk to a meeting with that potential customer. With Power8CRM, it’s really easy to get a quick snapshot of your sales pipeline, or where you’re at with an opportunity from virtually anywhere. It gives users real-time data as they navigate through the sales pipeline.”

PowerObjects will be demoing the latest developments for Power8CRM at Convergence 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana, which takes place March 18-21. “Convergence is Microsoft’s biggest Dynamics event of the year,” says Dean Jones, CEO of PowerObjects. “It’s our opportunity to show people that there is a mobile solution out that that can change the way they use Dynamics CRM, and even the way we think about the sales process. I think we’re going to make a lot of new fans.”
