Search in a view and edit records inline within Microsoft Dynamics 365.

What is PowerGrid?

If you’ve ever wished you could edit records from within a view in Dynamics 365 without clicking into each individual record, PowerGrid from PowerObjects was made for you! PowerGrid empowers users to consolidate their editing processes by selecting an entity and a pre-defined view (system or personal) from that entity and simply editing those records right from the grid. Indeed, inline editing makes it fast and easy to edit, add and remove records without ever having to navigate away from the PowerGrid screen.

In addition to PowerGrid’s inline editing capabilities, this PowerPack add-on also allows users to search within entity views. For example, if you need to search within inactive record views, PowerGrid enables you to do it. In fact, you can say goodbye to the days of creating an Advanced Find each time you want to search within any view.

And… we’ve also augmented PowerGrid’s functionality with a side reading pane and the ability to add activities to records on the fly.

  • Inline editing makes editing, adding and removing records quick and simple.
  • Searching within a view in Dynamics 365 has never been easier.
  • Choose to search in system views or personal views.
  • Use PowerGrid as a subgrid on any entity form.
  • Supports searching the views of any entity, including custom entities (note that the only exception is the Product entity: while you can search this Entity, PowerGrid cannot be used as a subgrid for it).
  • Configurable reading pane allows users to view record details without opening the record itself (see below).

Price is per user, per month. All enabled users are automatically counted – this includes read-only users, admin-only users and service accounts.

30-day free trial available for each PowerPack add-on!
