Hi, my name is Kyle and today we're going to talk about five key integrations that Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and Microsoft Office 365 have together that small businesses can take advantage of.

Since I've been at PowerObjects, I've worked with both the Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online subscriptions. Right away I recognized why small businesses should be on this platform.

A lot of small businesses have challenges with managing infrastructure, IT staffing. Microsoft's cloud does all of this for you with their subscription based model. You have a 99.9 uptime guarantee. The security that you need from the back end of Microsoft, and again, with the subscription platform you don't have the large up front costs of an on-premises environment.

Along with Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM from a subscription standpoint, the Microsoft Office 365 products are well integrated into Microsoft Dynamics CRM and here are five key integrations.

Let's get today's conversation started with our documents. SharePoint Online is a Microsoft Office 365 product that interfaces through your Dynamics CRM system, so when your team is working on collaboration, communication of these documents, but you really want to go into your CRM system and upload that document, it's not instantly uploading into CRM. It's just interfacing that, but then pushing that into your SharePoint site.

Now that we've talked about managing your documents, let's move on to the Office 365 Outlook integration with Dynamics CRM Online. We've always had an Outlook integration, but with the new versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, they've created what's called an add-in verses a current plug-in which we might be familiar with today.

The add-in has features for tracking emails but also creates a great interface for you to pull open those emails and immediately go into the record that you want to view in CRM.

Now let's talk about our third integration between Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM. It's OneNote, and OneNote is one of my favorite subjects to talk about with Office 365. It's excellent for teams to take notes on, but it does more than just that. You can upload images, hyperlinks, it has team collaboration, but when you look at Dynamics CRM, for example let's look at a contact record, you can immediately go into a OneNote that's specific to that contact record, making it easy for your team to manage your notes.

Now on to our fourth integration, which is Office 365 Groups, and really Office 365 Groups is pulling in a bunch of Office 365 products. You have calendar, collaboration, documents, OneNote, all in one collective area of Office 365, but when you interface that through Dynamics CRM, like for example, let's just say accounts, you can have Office 365 Groups and have your team working together with all of these products, with one seamless interface.

Now onto our fifth integration which is Skype for Business. We already know the name Skype very well for its online meetings, presence and status internally but something new and exciting is the ability to actually do click to dial through Skype. You interface that through Dynamics CRM, your leads, accounts, contacts, anywhere that you have a phone number, click on it and launch right into a phone call. That same philosophy reversed for an inbound phone call will recognize that phone number and pop that record out to its own window, making your life easier.

For more information you can check out my webinars. You can also sign up for my upcoming webinar next month, Skype for Business using click to dial through Dynamics CRM. You can also contact me. I love talking about Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM, and thank you for watching The CRM Minute.
